Неархос Иоанну: когда банкиры играют рок

Могли бы вы себе представить, что человек одновременно может быть успешным банкиром, написать 20 пьес, издать 3 книги и баллотироваться в Парламент Кипра? Я – нет. Пока не познакомилась с Неархосом Иоанну, доктором наук и генеральным директором Limassol Cooperative Bank.

А еще, рок-группа Кооперативного банка Лимассола CООР Band, организатором и главным вдохновителем которой является Неархос, последние 2 года является настоящей изюминкой Кипрско-российского фестиваля. Великолепный вокал, живая скрипка, гитара, бас, клавиши, ударные и отличные рок-баллады!

– Неархос, расскажите о себе, где вы родились, где учились?

– Лимассол – мой родной город, я родился и вырос в самом его центре. В западном Берлине я изучал политическую экономику, там же получил и докторскую степень. Затем, в течение 7 лет я работал в «Дрезднер банк» (Dresdner Bank), в его главном офисе во Франкфурте. В то время это был второй по величине банк Германии, позже произошло его слияние с «Коммерцбанк» (Commerzbank).
После этого я начал работать в «Банке Кипра» (Bank of Cyprus), где в течение 16 лет возглавлял отделение международных операций. Последние 10 лет я занимаю должность генерального директора Кооперативного сберегательного банка Лимассола (Limassol Cooperative Saving Bank).

– Я знаю, что у вас очень необычные увлечения, расскажите о них, пожалуйста.

– Да, я пишу пьесы для театра. Они пользуются большим успехом в театрах Кипра и Греции. Возможно, вы будете удивлены, но написание пьесы для театра никогда не занимает у меня больше 6 часов. Некоторые пишут пьесы по три года, но у меня выходит все намного быстрее. Обычно я занимаюсь этим в выходные.

Также я пишу книги. Несколько лет назад моя книга «Crisis, Croissanterie and Frozen Yogurt» стала настоящим бестселлером. В ней я с юмором пишу об экономическом кризисе, и объясняю людям многие сложные вопросы.

Помимо этого, я играю на акустической и электро-гитаре в рок-группе. Мы исполняем каверы известных рок-групп, выступаем на различных городских мероприятиях.

Но, к сожалению, работой писателя или музыканта сыт не будешь, особенно когда у тебя большая семья. К счастью, мне нравится моя работа в банке, и она совсем не такая скучная, как, наверное, кажется большинству. Можно быть банкиром, экономистом, финансистом, но в свободное от работы время играть в рок-группе, писать книги, ходить в театры и т. д.

– В прошлые годы ваши выступления на главной сцене Кипрско-российского фестиваля производило настоящий фурор. Какие песни вы представите на этот раз?

– Мы собираемся исполнить различные классические рок-баллады на английском языке в нашей интерпретации. Вот лишь некоторые названия песен: Johnny B, Purple Rain, Sweet child of mine… А остальное пусть останется сюрпризом!

– Что является основой вашего репертуара? Какого стиля придерживаетесь и с чем это связано?

– Репертуар состоит из классических рок-баллад и рок-песен на английском языке. Равно как и греческих песен. Как правило, выбор композиций зависит от возможностей участников группы, а также от их любимых песен. Наверняка это заметно по их восторженным лицам во время каждого выступления!

– А как вообще появилась идея создания группы?

– Группа появилась шесть лет назад. В основном она состояла из сотрудников банка, которые любят музыку, а также из профессиональных музыкантов. CООР Band исполняла рок-музыку английских и греческих композиторов. Со временем появилась вторая группа — Gia Charantan. Ее участники исполняют только греческие песни. Обе группы выступают на фестивалях и благотворительных мероприятиях, причем делают это бесплатно.

– Кто входит в состав нынешней группы? Есть ли среди вас профессиональные музыканты? Есть ли русскоговорящие участники?

– Группа состоит из сотрудников и друзей Кооперативного банка Лимассола. Из сотрудников в группе играют: Неархос Иоанну (вокал, гитара, губная гармошка), Георгулла Димитриу (вокал), Джордж Георгиу (вокал), Сотирис Хартосиас (бас-гитара). Профессиональные музыканты: Кристина Пападьяку (вокал), Дорос Неоклеус (барабаны), Теодосис Христидис (клавишные, вокал), Жозефина Ейд (вокал) и Александра Мутагарова (скрипка). Она же является единственной русскоговорящей участницей CООР Band.

– Каким образом это хобби отражается на вашей жизни?

– Я считаю, что самое главное — это любовь к своему делу. Мы проводим репетиции один раз в неделю и участвуем во многих благотворительных мероприятиях. Конечно, это занимает много свободного времени, но мы рады, когда видим счастливые лица людей (причем деньги за это они не платят). Мы также довольны, когда вырученные в результате проведения благотворительных мероприятий средства или продукты попадают в руки нуждающихся.

– Что бы вы хотели пожелать участникам и гостям ХI Кипрско-российского фестиваля?

– Мы желаем всем без исключения — и гостям, и участникам — отлично провести время, а также отличного лета! И ждем вас на нашем концерте, который пройдет на большой сцене 5 июня с 20.00 до 21.00.

    1            Application of terms

    3            Definitions

    In these Terms:

    including and similar words do not imply any limit

    Loss includes loss of profits, savings, revenue or data, and any other claim, damage, loss, liability and cost, including legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis

    personal information means information about an identifiable, living person

    Terms means these terms and conditions titled Terms and conditions of use

    Underlying System means any network, system, software, data or material that underlies or is connected to the Website

    We, us or our means VESTNIK KIPRA Group

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    information remains true, current and complete.

    4.2        You must:

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    b unless with our agreement, access the Website via standard web browsers only and not by any other method. Other methods include scraping, deep-linking, harvesting, data mining, use of a robot or spider, automation, or any similar data gathering, extraction or monitoring method.

    4.3 You indemnify us against all Loss we suffer or incur as a direct or indirect result of your failure to comply with these Terms.

    10.2      These Terms, and any dispute relating to these Terms or the Website, are governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the

    Republic of Cyprus.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    Website.

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
