Свалка – источник экологических проблем

Источник больших экологических проблем находится всего в десяти минутах езды от центра Лимассола. На Кипре не менее ста крупных полигонов бытовых отходов. Проще говоря, свалок. Та, что рядом с Лимассолом – из числа наиболее масштабных. Она действует почти тридцать лет. Насколько глубоко в земле сегодня находятся сотни тысяч тонн отходов – точно не знают даже специалисты. Понятно, что в большом городе без такой «специальной территории» не обойтись. Но очевидно, что этот полигон с нагрузкой уже не справляется. Журналисты “ТелеВестника” побеседовали об этой проблеме с Йоргосом Георгиу, управляющим коммунальным предприятием. Столкновение водителей автобусов с полицией

Сотрудники автобусной компании OSEL в понедельник, 2 ноября, устроили акцию протеста перед Президентским дворцом в Никосии после того, как один из директоров и акционеров компании принял решение снять с маршрутов около 50 автобусов из-за неэффективного использования средств. In-cyprus.com сообщает, что протест перешел законные рамки, когда водители автобусов перекрыли вход в Президентский дворец при помощи 24 автобусов. Полиция попыталась убрать транспортные средства, в результате чего произошло столкновение с протестующими. Один человек вынужден был отправиться в больницу. Многие пассажиры пострадали из-за этой забастовки. Населенные пункты в районе Никосии остались полностью без автобусного сообщения. В Министерстве транспорта, коммуникаций и общественных работ сказали, что бесхозяйственность в использовании государственных средств

“ТелеВестник” о детском реабилитационном центре

Небесная покровительница этого реабилитационного центра в окрестностях Лимассола – Богоматерь. Земные проблемы решает кардиолог Америкос Аргириу. Благодаря доктору у кипрских детей с ограниченной подвижностью – и их родителей – появилась надежда. Аргириу когда-то давно одним из первых на Кипре заговорил о проблеме. И уже десятки лет помогает людям и словом, и делом. Владельцы винтажных автомобилей – добровольные помощники доктора Аргириу. Благотворительное ралли организовал Димис Мавропулос – основатель музея антикварных машин. Народное единство

4 ноября в России отмечается День народного единства, совпадающий по дате с днем празднования Казанской иконы Божией Матери. Исторически этот праздник привязан к изгнанию поляков из Москвы в 1612 году и окончанию Смутного времени. 1 ноября 1612 года бойцы народного ополчения под предводительством Кузьмы Минина и Дмитрия Пожарского штурмом взяли Китай-город. В Археологический музей Лимассола с детьми

Очень жаль, что зачастую музей воспринимается людьми, как скопление мертвых артефактов. И на приглашение пойти туда вместе с ребенком приходится слышать в ответ: «В музей? С детьми? Зачем?     10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
