Кипр в поисках золота

Около 6000 лет назад люди начали осмысленно добывать золото. На основе этого металла сложилась вся кредитно-денежная система, без которой немыслим современный мир. Добыча всегда шла и на Кипре, но острову удалось избежать «золотой лихорадки».

Золото – это универсальный и всегда ликвидный товар. Никакой другой металл не вызывал такое количество войн и преступлений. А значение золота в мировой истории и культуре сложно переоценить.

От меди до золота

В геологоразведке есть такое понятие – поисковые признаки. Именно они указывают на то, стоит ли искать в том или ином месте полезные ископаемые — металлы, газ, нефть. Иной раз эти факторы интересны сами по себе. Разберемся на примерах.

Первый поисковый признак – визуальный

С древних времен медь искали на Кипре, полагаясь исключительно на поверхностные выходы металла. Обнаружив такие, в этом месте начинали добывать, следуя за рудными телами вниз до тех пор, пока они не закончатся. Даже в 1970-х годах разведочное бурение было все еще дорогим и медленным.

Второй поисковый признак – исторический

Кипр — маленький остров, но природа в который раз наградила его, в том числе и золотом. Четкого упоминания о добыче золота на Кипре нет — когда его начали добывать и как успешно — никто не знает. Не было тут и «золотой лихорадки», как на Аляске, масштабы не те. Хотя добыча таких полезных ископаемых, как медная руда, ведется здесь на протяжении столетий. В исторических работах о жизни финикийцев, которые занимались морской торговлей, часто вспоминают о самом ценном и доходном грузе – золоте с острова Кипр. Далее следы золотодобычи на острове теряются во времени, возможно это связано с распадом Римской империи и началом разработок в Европе вновь открытых месторождений золота.

Расцвет добычи полезных ископаемых, а именно меди, в честь которой по одной из версий и был назван остров, зафиксирован еще во времена Римской империи. Возможно тогда и приметили золото. Именно римляне придумали шахтную добычу — она велась кустарным способом на некоторых рудниках и мелких горных выработках от случая к случаю. Некоторые шахты на острове датируются 600 годом до н. э.

Уже в современное время золотодобыча на Кипре возобновляется в 1928 году. Греческая металлургическая компания обнаружила золото в Троодосе. С 1937 по 1940 год добыли примерно 26 673 тонн золотой и серебряной руды, из которых было выплавлено 395 кг золота и 2 002 кг серебра. В начале 1940-х добыча драгоценных металлов прекратилась. В 1950 перешли к добыче меди. Со временем медные месторождения Кипра получили по своему происхождению специальный термин: «кипрский тип». Месторождения образованы в лавовом комплексе оффиолитов в горах Троодос. Эти руды содержат примеси различных минералов, в том числе золота и серебра, а в зонах охр их концентрация значительно выше.

Поиски благородного металла то начинались, то снова угасали. В 1983 году в процессе бурения специалисты-геологи выявили предположительную минерализацию меди и золота в лавовых породах Троодоса. В 2010 году на Кипре опять обнаружили значительные объемы золота и ценных минералов. В ходе разведочного бурения на одном из поисковых участков в пробах обнаружили в среднем 2,12 грамма золота на тонну других пород, 16,91 — серебра. Одновременно с этим Правительство Кипра предоставило лицензии на разведку золота в нескольких перспективных районах острова.

Есть ли на Кипре золотоносные жилы? Геологоразведка все расскажет и покажет. Для проведения геологоразведочных работ по поиску драгоценного металла на Кипре выделили территорию в 140 кв. км — территорию изучают с учетом как геологических, так и исторических предпосылок, используя новейшие технологии: геохимические, геофизические и аэрометоды, дистанционное зондирование космическим спутником и многое другое.

Результаты исследований уже можно назвать положительными — определены зоны и точки дальнейшего бурения. Программа новых заявок правительства Кипра на поисковые лицензии завершена в конце февраля 2019 года, площадь поисков увеличена до 237 кв.км.

С середины 2017 года на руднике «Скуриотисса» работает завод по производству сплава золота и серебра. Ожидается, что завод сможет перерабатывать и другие золотые руды, поступающие со всего Кипра.

    4            Your obligations

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
