«Давай играть в буквы!»

У соседки ребенок в три года говорит уже на пяти языках, а вы со своим еще даже не начали учить китайский алфавит? Или вас, наоборот, все отговаривают от раннего обучения иностранному языку? («Потом по-­русски будет ошибки делать!»)

Давайте разберемся с вопросом раннего обучения иностранным языкам с помощью последних научных исследований! Тема важная и обширная, поэтому разобьем статью на две части – окончание вы сможете прочесть в следующем выпуске.

Возможно, противников раннего обучения заставит задуматься такой факт: русский язык ребенок тоже учит с нуля, просто слушая окружающих людей. Не все знают, что основу родного языка ребенок учит до трех лет:
– в доречевой этап, первый год жизни, когда ребенок еще только начинает агукать и лепетать что-то, он уже делает это с определенной интонацией, которую слышит от окружающих*;
– второй год жизни, этап первичного освоения языка, так называемый дограмматический период, когда ребенок начинает повторять слова, составлять словосочетания, выражать свои желания – «дай!», «сам!»;
– и, наконец, третий год жизни, когда наступает период усвоения грамматики – предложения становятся все длиннее, ребенок запоминает короткие стишки, может подпевать песенкам.

Все это происходит у любого ребенка в любой стране и от конкретного языка не зависит. Дети – в Китае, США, России, на Кипре и т. д. – проходят примерно одни и те же этапы становления речи. А значит, совершенно неважно, какому именно языку вы планируете обучать ребенка.

Что действительно важно – не понимать слово «обучать» буквально. В два года никто не учится по учебникам, дети просто слушают окружающих их взрослых, которые читают им книги или поют песни, – и начинают говорить.

Поэтому, если вы решили учить ребенка иностранному языку, обеспечьте ему среду – песенки, рассказы, стихи. Не сажайте трехгодовалого малыша за прописи! Любое обучения в таком возрасте – только в игровой форме!

Используйте преимущества «фонового прослушивания». Оказывается, не менее полезно просто давать слушать песенки и стихи в качестве фонового сопровождения. Университет Орегона участвовал в исследовании, где сравнивали две группы людей. Первая группа слушала аудио без перерыва в течение часа, вторая слушала то же аудио в течение десяти минут целенаправленно, потом десять минут фоном, занимаясь другими делами, потом снова десять минут целенаправленно. Результаты по запоминанию у двух групп были одинаковыми**. Получается, если сначала привлечь внимание к какой-то информации, а потом поставить ее на прослушивание фоном, мозг продолжает уделять этой информации такое же внимание, как если бы вы слушали это аудио целенаправленно. Ставьте песенки в машине, во время игры, пойте перед сном. Со временем ребенок начнет повторять слова, а потом и предложения.

У моей дочери в 3,5 года любимая игра – «в буквы»! Ведь в садике они очень весело раскрашивают буквы, поют песенки, ставят сценки и мини-спектакли. Это – игра, ей и в голову не приходит, что она учится, да еще и на трех языках!

ПОСЛЕ ТРЕХ УЖЕ ПОЗДНО?

Вряд ли есть родитель, который не слышал о книге Масару Ибуки «После трех уже поздно». Но не все ее внимательно читали. Господин Ибука не призывает сажать детей за парту в полтора года и изнурять их многочасовыми занятиями. Он много пишет о том, как важно давать ребенку возможность играть для обучения – рисовать, лепить, участвовать в ролевых играх, тренировать двигательные навыки.

Обеспечьте ребенку возможность соприкасаться с языком регулярно – многие игры и занятия можно перевести на иностранный язык и продолжать играть. Например, раскрашивая, называйте на иностранном языке цвета, предметы, животных на карточках и кубиках, лепите героев из песенок, которые ребенок слушает регулярно. Не предупреждайте ребенка: «Сейчас мы будем говорить по-английски!» – для него эта фраза бессмысленна. Даже дети, живущие в двуязычной среде, не всегда могут правильно назвать языки, на которых общаются. Моя дочь в три года говорила на греческом и английском в полной уверенности, что говорит только на английском. Для детей эти названия – «русский язык», «английский язык» – пока ничего не значат. Просто начинайте говорить с ребенком на другом языке, играть, петь, читать сказки и стихи.

Конечно, идеальные условия для усвоения иностранного языка предоставляет иноязычная среда. Место, где ребенок может общаться только на иностранном языке, потому что русского языка в этом месте не знают. Нам, взрослым, это кажется сложным: мы боимся сказать что-то не так, ошибиться. У детей такого страха нет – они ищут возможность общаться, донести до собеседника свою мысль и просьбу, неважно, на каком языке. Именно поэтому дети совершают большой скачок в речевом развитии, попав в детский сад или группу детей, – неважно, на каком языке эта группа общается. Возможно, они и делают ошибки, но ведь и на родном языке они тоже не сразу начинают говорить идеально, правда?

    1            Application of terms

    1.1        These Terms apply to your use of the Website. By accessing and using the Website:

    In these Terms:

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    information remains true, current and complete.

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    10.2      These Terms, and any dispute relating to these Terms or the Website, are governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the

    Republic of Cyprus.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    Website.

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
