Деревни, населенные с доисторических времен

С самого начала своей истории Кипр был очень привлекательным местом для человека. Поселения здесь существовали в доисторические времена. Что любопытно, многие из деревень, основанных первыми людьми, стоят до сих пор. Конечно, никаких следов древнейших поселений в этих деревнях не сохранилось. Что это за места?

Канду.

Деревня основана в период неолита (4500-3800 до н.э.). Канду расположена в 2 км к северу от Эрими и в 15 км от Лимассола. До 1960 года деревня была почти полностью населена турками-киприотами. Со времен господства франков в деревне сохранились два православных храма (постройки XV века). В Канду есть и мечеть, которая была отреставрирована в 1950-х годах. Единственный декоративный элемент на мечети – османская надпись на металлической табличке, окрашенной в зеленый цвет, подвешенной слева от михраба.

Пила.

Территория деревни, по-видимому, была заселена еще с древних времен, а точнее, во время раннего и среднего бронзового века (2400-1700 гг. до н.э.), что подтверждается археологическими раскопками, которые проводились в этом районе. Вторым тысячелетием до н.э. датируются некоторые археологические находки в местечке Коккинокремос.

По словам исследователей, в Средние века деревня изначально была частным феодальным владением, а позже стала королевской усадьбой. В частности, как утверждает Большая кипрская энциклопедия, поселок принадлежал князю Галилеи Жану де Бри, а позже стал собственностью семьи де Жибле.

В тот же период была построена башня с висячим мостом, которая сохранилась до наших дней. Башня Пилы наряду с другими наблюдательными пунктами в регионе Ларнаки использовалась для охраны территории.

В венецианский период деревня стала государственной собственностью. После турецкого завоевания здесь поселились новые хозяева острова, и вплоть до 1974 года население в деревне оставалось смешанным.

В Пиле располагается контрольно-пропускной пункт, ведущий на оккупированные территории.

Дромолакша.

Дромолакша располагается недалеко от международного аэропорта Ларнаки. На сегодняшний день она административно объединена с селением Менеу. Жизнь здесь зафиксирована со времен среднего бронзового века (2000 – 1600 гг. до н.э.). Рядом с деревней находится важный христианский памятник – церковь Ангелоктисти в Кити и важный исламский памятник – мечеть Хала Султан Текке.

Потамья.

Потамья – это деревня с долгой и богатой историей. Археологические раскопки подтверждают ее связь с древним государством Идалион. Значительные находки были обнаружены в 1933 году во время раскопок П. Дикэоса. Он обнаружил древнее святилище, датируемое VI-V вв. до н.э. и, вероятно, посвященное Аполлону. Согласно Большой кипрской энциклопедии, деревня также существовала и в византийские годы, а позже, во время франкской оккупации, принадлежала королевской семье Лузиньянов.

По словам хрониста Леонтия Махераса, король Петр II построил в деревне, на правом берегу реки Ялиас, загородную резиденцию. Части стен, выполненных из резного камня, остатки декора, а также большой зал с арками сохранились до сих пор. Резиденция была разрушена турками. Как свидетельствуют источники, камни королевского дворца использовались для строительства церкви Фанеромени в Никосии.

    1            Application of terms

    Terms means these terms and conditions titled Terms and conditions of use

    Underlying System means any network, system, software, data or material that underlies or is connected to the Website

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    information remains true, current and complete.

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    b unless with our agreement, access the Website via standard web browsers only and not by any other method. Other methods include scraping, deep-linking, harvesting, data mining, use of a robot or spider, automation, or any similar data gathering, extraction or monitoring method.

    Republic of Cyprus.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
