1 октября – красный день календаря

1 октября Республика Кипр отмечает 55-­ю годовщину своей независимости. В этот день в столице Кипра Никосии запланирован военный парад. Кроме того, во всех городах состоятся торжественные мероприятия, посвященные борьбе кипрского народа за независимость страны.

ДЕМОНСТРАЦИЯ СИЛЫ И МОЩИ АРМИИ

Официально независимость Кипра была провозглашена в полночь 16 августа 1960 года, однако отмечается праздник именно 1 октября. Жаркий август, когда и местные жители, и дипкорпус уходят в отпуск, оказался неудобным месяцем для организации официальных мероприятий. В связи с этим в 1963 году правительство приняло решение о переносе праздника на осень.

День рождения республики отмечается с большим размахом. Основные мероприятия в первый день октября проводятся в столице республики Никосии у Президентского дворца. Ежегодно здесь проходит военный парад. Это уникальная возможность для гостей Кипра полюбоваться на кипрскую армию, военную гордость страны. Конечно, россиян, знающих, что такое настоящий военный парад на Красной площади, удивить аналогичным мероприятием в Никосии, безусловно, сложно. Однако, несмотря на несопоставимость масштабов, столичное праздничное действо выглядит весьма интересно: красивая военная форма различных родов войск, совершенно иной стиль маршировки, чем в российской армии, наконец, подразделение красавиц в полицейской форме – все это в сочетании с бодрящей музыкой и прекрасной погодой только добавляет хорошего настроения.

Парад является настолько важным зрелищем для киприотов, что семьи съезжаются в столицу со всей страны, чтобы увидеть его своими глазами. Как правило, киприоты берут с собой детей, желая им показать, что они находятся под защитой своего государства. Тем самым не прерывается традиционно уважительное отношение к своей стране и память обо всех событиях, которые выпали на долю Кипра. Традиционно в параде принимает участие боевая техника — танки, бронетранспортеры, системы залпового огня, многоцелевые ударные вертолеты. Правда, в прошлом году впервые обошлось без нее. Перед президентом, военным руководством Кипра и Греции, высшим духовенством, членами правительства и дипломатическим корпусом прошли только подразделения военнослужащих, резервистов, пожарных и полицейских. Изменение формата парада было вызвано экономической ситуацией в стране.

ПЛЮСЫ И МИНУСЫ ОБРЕТЕНИЯ НЕЗАВИСИМОСТИ

Казалось бы, обретение свободы любым государством должно восприниматься его гражданами как неоспоримая победа. Однако так ли это? В 1960 году Кипр, входивший в состав английских колониальных владений, получил независимость. Юридическим оформлением предоставления независимости стали навязанные киприотам Цюрихско-лондонские соглашения 1959 года, значительно ограничивающие суверенитет республики. По этим соглашениям Великобритания, Греция и Турция являлись гарантами «независимости, территориальной целостности и безопасности» Кипра, что дало этим странам возможность вмешательства в его внутренние дела («Договор о гарантиях»).

Кроме того, Греция и Турция получили право держать на острове свои военные контингенты – соответственно 950 и 650 человек («Договор о союзе»). Великобритания сохранила на Кипре под своим полным суверенитетом часть территории, на которой расположены две крупные военные базы – Декелия и Акротири, а также обеспечила себе право использовать другие «небольшие участки» и инфраструктуру в связи с деятельностью баз и объектов.

ЭНОЗИС И ТАКСИМ

Фактически 82 года остров находился под британским правлением. Долгожданная свобода была обретена после четырехлетней партизанской войны. Страна получила независимость и собственную конституцию, согласно которой провозглашалось существование двух самоуправляемых общин, греко-кипрской и турко-кипрской. Это бесспорно значимое для республики событие вместе с тем принесло целый ряд серьезных проблем, которые остаются нерешенными и по сей день. Дело в том, что и в начале XX века, и на момент объявления независимости среди греков-киприотов была крайне популярна идея энозиса (воссоединения) с Грецией. Понятно, что она была совершенно неприемлема для турок-киприотов, которые, в свою очередь, выдвинули доктрину таксим (тур. «отделение»), подразумевающую разделение острова на греческую и турецкую части. Идее энозиса не суждено было сбыться, а вот разделение острова, к сожалению, произошло. Случилось это после известных событий 1974 года.

Так что 1 октября для кого-то из жителей Кипра – большой праздник, который будет ознаменован традиционным торжественным военным парадом в столице и открытым приемом в Президентском дворце. А для кого-то это – нерадостное событие, повлекшее за собой невозможность воссоединения с Грецией, которую многие киприоты считают родиной-матерью (неслучайно по всей стране даже национальные флаги Кипра и Греции всегда висят вместе).

В любом случае, День независимости республики Кипр – это государственный выходной. В этот день закрыты правительственные учреждения, банки, государственные организации, частные фирмы, торговые заведения.

    1            Application of terms

    1.1        These Terms apply to your use of the Website. By accessing and using the Website:

    a            you agree to these Terms; and

    b            where your access and use is on behalf of another person (e.g. a company), you confirm that you are authorised to, and do in fact, agree to these Terms

    on that person’s behalf and that, by agreeing to these Terms on that person’s behalf, that person is bound by these Terms.

    3            Definitions

    In these Terms:

    including and similar words do not imply any limit

    Loss includes loss of profits, savings, revenue or data, and any other claim, damage, loss, liability and cost, including legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis

    personal information means information about an identifiable, living person

    Terms means these terms and conditions titled Terms and conditions of use

    Underlying System means any network, system, software, data or material that underlies or is connected to the Website

    We, us or our means VESTNIK KIPRA Group

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    information remains true, current and complete.

    4.2        You must:

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    b unless with our agreement, access the Website via standard web browsers only and not by any other method. Other methods include scraping, deep-linking, harvesting, data mining, use of a robot or spider, automation, or any similar data gathering, extraction or monitoring method.

    4.3 You indemnify us against all Loss we suffer or incur as a direct or indirect result of your failure to comply with these Terms.
     

    5            Intellectual property

    We (and our licensors) own all proprietary and intellectual property rights in the Website (including all information, data, text, graphics, artwork, photographs, logos, icons, sound recordings, videos and look and feel), and the Underlying Systems.

    6.1        To the extent permitted by law, we and our licensors have no liability or responsibility to you or any other person for any Loss in connection with:

    10.2      These Terms, and any dispute relating to these Terms or the Website, are governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the

    Republic of Cyprus.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    Website.

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
