Один день с сотрудником Кипрской организации по туризму

«Вестник Кипра» продолжает знакомить читателей с людьми самых разных специальностей. Прежде всего с государственными служащими. Наша задача — посмотреть на их работу свежим взглядом, понять, чем они живут, что интересного происходит в их профессиональной практике. В этом выпуске мы расскажем вам о менеждере Кипрской организации по туризму (КОТ).

«ПРОЛОЖИТЬ МАРШРУТ» ДЛЯ ПОСЕТИТЕЛЯ
Знакомьтесь, Кики (Кирьяки) Августиду — менеджер по работе с туристами. Кроме родного греческого, она свободно говорит на английском и немецком языках. Владеет французским на базовом уровне. Ее рабочее место — Информационный офис (справочная) в туристической зоне Старой Никосии, Лайки Гитонья. Она трудится с понедельника по пятницу с 8.30 до 16.00, без перерыва на обед.
День начинается рано, однако Кирьяки по своему опыту давно знает, что у нее есть всего несколько минут, чтобы выпить чашку кофе и подготовиться к встрече первых посетителей. С утра это обычно иностранцы, а позднее, не спеша, подтянутся и местные жители.
В течение всего дня в это небольшое помещение с традиционной для Кипра обстановкой, что на первом этажа исторического здания, приходят (а лучше сказать, наводняют) туристы: чаще всего европейцы. Их подавляющее большинство — немцы. Каждый спрашивает о том, что интересно и где хотелось бы побывать за эти несколько часов, которые они планируют провести в столице, приехав из курортн ых районов Айя—Напы, Пафоса или Лимассола.
Сотруднику информационного пункта необходимо не только понять своего визави и помочь соориентироваться, но и предложить подходящий путеводитель или карту на его родном языке (а к чести КОТ надо сказать, что у них в наличие прекрасно изданные справочники на многих языках мира). Профессионал сумеет даже «проложить» маркером по карте наиболее удобный маршрут, на котором, в зависимости от личных предпочтений гостя, за короткое время он узнает и поймет главное об этой стране и ее народе.

КОГДА МЛАДШЕЕ ПОКОЛЕНИЕ ПОМОГАЕТ
Кирьяки делится впечатлениями и показывает любопытную рукопись. Оказывается, она как опытный сотрудник кроме основной работы по предоставлению информации гостям острова, также проводит исследования «своей аудитории»: узнает, кто и откуда приехал, что интересует. Вот, например, чехи, французы, немцы и голландцы — самые «культурно соориентированные» граждане: они приезжают в Никосию, чтобы посетить музеи и осмотреть достопримечательности и, по возможности, все! Японцы и корейцы с типичным восточным усердием (а также в целях экономии времени, ведь путь из их стран на Кипр был неблизким и надо успеть увидеть как можно больше) приходят с заготовленными заранее маршрутами и списком мест, которые они хотели бы посетить, исходя из информации, почерпнутой в интернете. Англичане больше нацелены на ознакомительную прогулку, которая (это уже из личных наблюдений) непременно должна закончиться в местной таверне. Что же касается россиян, они приходят в основном семьями и интересуются, как правило, общими сведениями. Есть ли сложность в общении? Увы, сказывается все то же незнание нашими соотечественниками иностранных языков. Объясняться помогают либо младшее поколение, либо Кирьяки, ориентируясь по запрашиваемым названиям, предлагает им печатную продукцию на русском, раскрывая на нужном месте.

БЕЗ ПОМОЩНИКА ПРИХОДИТСЯ СЛОЖНО
В это время года в «культурном туризме» наблюдается затишье, и всего 50—70 человек в день заглядывают к Кики, но уже вскоре с первыми чартерами стоит ожидать привычный аншлаг: 130—160 человек. «Сезон» обычно держится до конца октября. Кики уже привыкла и хорошо справляется, но помощник, конечно, нужен. «Вот бы просто на 10 минут прикрыть глаза», — улыбаясь вздыхает она.
Нам повезло, и вот уже несколько минут, кроме нас, в офисе никого нет. Кики заваривает чай и рассказывает о владельцах сувенирных лавочек по соседству и о том, что, где и когда лучше покупать у местного производителя. В это время подходит пожилая пара киприотов и, получив ответ на вопрос «как пройти?», задерживается с нами и увлеченно подхватывает беседу «за жизнь»…
На пороге возникла новая группа туристов, и снова из Германии. И вот Кики опять на посту…

«МЫ — ЭТО КИПР!»
Вместе с Кики мы провели маленькое «исследование туристо—трафика»: за 10 минут к ней обратились и получили подробные разъяснения группы туристов из Польши, Израиля, Германии и Франции.
Посетители, как и везде, бывают разные: и капризные, и шутники, от нечего делать «заглянувшие на огонек». На вопрос: «Как справляетесь?», ответ был простой: работая с людьми, надо быть психологом и уметь всегда сохранять спокойствие.
Самый лучший отдых для сотрудника по работе с туристами по окончании рабочего дня — просто… помолчать, ну и конечно, домашняя атмосфера и внимание близких. Кики тут же добавляет: «А как же без тренажерного зала?!»
Сотрудники КОТ чувствуют особую ответственность: ведь они — представители своей страны в глазах иностранцев — и любят шутить: «Мы — это Кипр!»

ПОМОГИ, ЧЕМ МОЖЕШЬ
Профессиональное убеждение: с чем бы человек ни пришел к тебе — помоги, чем сможешь.
Что же интересует самих киприотов в работе КОТ? Это, главным образом, фестивали и праздненства. Молодежь желает участвовать в различных данс— и арт—фестах, люди постарше — в фестивалях вина, а также стремятся посещать театральные постановки и разнообразные экскурсии.

    1            Application of terms

    In these Terms:

    Loss includes loss of profits, savings, revenue or data, and any other claim, damage, loss, liability and cost, including legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis

    personal information means information about an identifiable, living person

    Terms means these terms and conditions titled Terms and conditions of use

    Underlying System means any network, system, software, data or material that underlies or is connected to the Website

    We, us or our means VESTNIK KIPRA Group

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    information remains true, current and complete.

    4.2        You must:

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    b unless with our agreement, access the Website via standard web browsers only and not by any other method. Other methods include scraping, deep-linking, harvesting, data mining, use of a robot or spider, automation, or any similar data gathering, extraction or monitoring method.

    4.3 You indemnify us against all Loss we suffer or incur as a direct or indirect result of your failure to comply with these Terms.

    10.2      These Terms, and any dispute relating to these Terms or the Website, are governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the

    Republic of Cyprus.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    Website.

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
