Когда привитым потребуется ревакцинация?

К 11 мая на Кипре первой дозой вакцины привиты 39,6% населения. 12,4% населения завершили свою вакцинацию. Это ставит Кипр на четвертое место в Европейском союзе. Но многие эксперты задаются вопросом, на сколько хватит эффекта от вакцины?

Согласно порталу Our World in Data, на 100 жителей в стране сделано 43,91 прививки. Больше всего привитых — на Мальте: 87,59 вакцины на 100 человек. За ней следуют Венгрия (72,37), Литва (44,36), Кипр (43,91) и Испания (43,12).  Хуже всего вакцинация продвигается Хорватии (28,12 прививок на 100 человек), Латвии (22,4) и Болгарии (14,38).

Минздрав Кипра решительными шагами следует к своей цели привить 65% населения в первое полугодие 2021 года. Согласно плану, в течение мая подойдет очередь для жителей в возрасте 18+, то есть национальный план будет выполнен. Также ожидается, что людям, чья очередь уже прошла, дадут повторный шанс записаться.

С 14 по 16 мая портал вакцинации будет работать для следующих возрастов:

22-24 года: 14 мая, с 07:30 до 17:30
50-55 года: 15 мая, с 07:30 до 17:30
56-58 года: 16 мая, с 07:30 до 17:30

Продвигается и вакцинация у личных врачей, которые прививают вакциной AstraZeneca. Минздрав передал им около 25 000 прививок.

Ревакцинация

Тем временем разработчики вакцин от COVID-19 делают все более смелые заявления о том, что человечеству теперь понадобятся ежегодные бустерные (то есть повторные) прививки или даже новые вакцины для борьбы с новыми штаммами коронавируса. Однако некоторые ученые задаются вопросом, точно ли такие прививки нужны или это коммерческий ход производителей.

В интервью агентству Reuters более десятка влиятельных экспертов по инфекционным заболеваниям и разработке вакцин заявили, что растет число свидетельств того, что нынешней глобальной вакцинации может быть достаточно для того, чтобы обеспечить надежную защиту от коронавируса и его вариантов, обнаруженных на сегодняшний день. Некоторые из этих ученых выразили обеспокоенность тем, что производители заявляют о бустерных дозах, не посоветовавшись со специалистами в области здравоохранения. Другие ученые согласны, что людям нужно быть готовыми к необходимости привиться еще раз. Еще одно опасение связано с тем, что повторная массовая вакцинация уже в этом году усугубит разрыв между развитыми и развивающимися странами, многие из которых пока что даже не купили прививки для первого раунда вакцинации.

Ранее исполнительный директор Pfizer Inc Альберт Бурла заявил, что людям, вероятно, потребуется бустерная доза вакцины каждые 12 месяцев, аналогично ежегодной прививке от гриппа, для поддержания высокого уровня иммунитета против вируса SARS-CoV-2 и его вариантов.

«Мы пока не видим данных, которые позволили бы принять решение о том, нужны ли бустерные дозы», — заявила Кейт О’Брайен, директор Департамента иммунизации, вакцин и биологических препаратов Всемирной организации здравоохранения (ВОЗ). О’Брайен рассказала, что ВОЗ формирует группу экспертов для оценки всех данных по эффективности разных вакцин и при необходимости порекомендует внести изменения в программы вакцинации.

С исполнительным директором Pfizer Inc спорит и Том Фриден, бывший директор Центров по контролю и профилактике заболеваний США: «Существует ноль, именно ноль, доказательств того, что это так». «Совершенно неуместно говорить, что нам, вероятно, понадобится ежегодная бустерная доза, потому что мы понятия не имеем, какова вероятность этого», — сказал Фриден, который сейчас возглавляет глобальную инициативу по общественному здравоохранению Resolve to Save Lives. Компания Pfizer, отвечая на критику, заявила, что бустерные дозы будут нужны, пока вирус все еще широко циркулирует в человеческом обществе. «Это изменится, как только пандемия будет более строго контролироваться», — заявила пресс-секретарь компании.

Генеральный директор Moderna Inc Стефан Бэнсел заявил о намерениях его компании к осени произвести вакцину, предназначенную специально против штамма, впервые выявленного в ЮАР. Он также ожидает, что потребуются регулярные бустерные дозы. США готовы закупить дополнительные дозы вакцины для своих граждан, а Европейский союз, Великобритания и Израиль уже сделали это.

Финансовый вопрос

Pfizer не скрывает, что вакцина от COVID-19 будет для компании основным источником прибыли в течение многих лет, прогнозируя доходы в размере 26 млрд долларов. По данным американской компании IQVIA Holdings, глобальные расходы на вакцины и бустерные прививки от COVID-19 могут составить 157 млрд долларов к 2025 году.

Президент Moderna Стивен Хоге ожидает, что от бустерных доз никуда не деться и они потребуются для поддержания высокого уровня иммунитета хотя бы из-за того, что 30% населения США принципиально не согласны на вакцинацию. «Пока вирус широко циркулирует в мире, людям с высоким риском тяжелых заболеваний, возможно, потребуется повысить свою иммунную защиту», — сказал Хоге, добавив «Все правительства ведут переговоры с Moderna и другими компаниями о покупке бустеров».

Штаммы коронавируса

В конце 2020 года ученые с оптимизмом смотрели на то, что высокоэффективные вакцины могут помочь быстро победить глобальную пандемию, которая нанесла ущерб экономике и унесла жизни более 3,4 млн человек.     1            Application of terms

    1.1        These Terms apply to your use of the Website. By accessing and using the Website:

    3            Definitions

    In these Terms:

    Terms means these terms and conditions titled Terms and conditions of use

    Underlying System means any network, system, software, data or material that underlies or is connected to the Website

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    information remains true, current and complete.

    4.2        You must:

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    b unless with our agreement, access the Website via standard web browsers only and not by any other method. Other methods include scraping, deep-linking, harvesting, data mining, use of a robot or spider, automation, or any similar data gathering, extraction or monitoring method.

    10.2      These Terms, and any dispute relating to these Terms or the Website, are governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the

    Republic of Cyprus.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
