Кипрские портреты из 1952 года

В 1952 году корреспонденты издания National Geographic посетили Кипр, чтобы сделать свой второй фоторепортаж с «острова Афродиты» для журнала Национального географического общества США. Первый раз их коллеги оказались на Кипре еще в 1928 году, но с тех пор остров сильно изменился, а потому было принято решение показать его читателям журнала еще раз. Репортаж вышел под названием «Кипр: идиллический остров в неспокойном море». Фотографы сконцентрировались на портретных снимках, особенно на изображении кипрских женщин. Второй день дождей: наводнения, оползни и перекрытые дороги [ОБНОВЛЕНО]

Второй день подряд Кипр находится во власти циклона. Ливни затопили дороги и создали проблемы с электроснабжением, а в Лакатамии река Педиэос вышла из берегов. К середине дня 31 декабря Пожарная служба отреагировала на 180 вызовов. Власти двух городов официально объявили об отмене праздничных мероприятий из-за погоды. Больше всего проблем грозы создали в Никосии, где жители обращались к спасателям 160 раз за прошедшие полутора суток. Восемь вызовов приняли пожарные станции в регионе Лимассола, семь вызов ― в регионе Ларнаки. Еще пять вызовов потребовали вмешательства специальной группы по противодействию катастрофам. Власти просят не тревожить тюленей

После того, как в море у Айя-Напы были замечены несколько тюленей, Департамент рыбного хозяйства и морских исследований призвал жителей не беспокоить животных, чтобы не спугнуть их и не создавать угрозы для их жизни. Ведомство предупреждает, что любопытство человека очень сильно влияет на поведение животных, «поэтому мы должны уважать их присутствие, не вмешиваясь в их пространство». Менее трети киприотов живут в арендованном доме

Около 70% европейцев живут в своих собственных домах. Остальные 30% арендуют жилье. Об этом сообщается в новом исследовании «Евростата». На Кипре доля тех, кто живет в собственном доме или в квартире, близка к среднему показателю по ЕС, составляя 68,6%. Самый высокий показатель домовладения зафиксирован в Румынии, где 96% населения проживает в принадлежащих им домах. На втором месте оказалась Словакия с 92%, на третьем ― Хорватия и Венгрия с 91%. Эксперты пояснили специфику новых мер

Новые меры правительства, введенные в попытке сдержать распространение COVID-19 ― это целевые меры, они не ставят своей целью разозлить общественность или навредить экономике.     required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not
