Катакомбы святой Соломонии. Правда и вымысел

Катакомбы святой Соломонии – одна из самых известных подземных достопримечательностей Пафоса. Катакомбы расположены у проспекта Апостолу Павлу в Като Пафосе. В подземелье посетителей ведет каменная лестница. Сооружение состоит из открытого внутреннего двора, вокруг которого расположены пять высеченных в скале помещений. В некоторых из них сохранились остатки христианских фресок. Часть из них датируются XII веком. Археологи предполагают, что катакомбы появились в результате добычи камня в этом районе. 25% компаний откажутся от наличных в перспективе

Только три из десяти кипрских предприятий предпочитают получать оплату наличными. Примерно на том же уровне популярность бумажных денег в остальных странах еврозоны. Частные лица тоже все чаще выбирают безналичные платежи. «За» – менее ¼ предприятий Опрос Европейского Центробанка, посвященный использованию наличных компаниями в еврозоне, показывает: только 24% компаний все еще хотят, чтобы потребители расплачивались с ними бумажными деньгами. На Кипре появится заповедник

Цементный завод в Василико передал четыре земельных участка на Акамасе площадью около 4,5 гектаров природоохранной организации Terra Cypria. На этой территории создадут первый на острове природный заповедник. Завод передал земли эко-защитникам Завод передал природозащитной организации участки, расположенные в ущельях Агиа Екатерини и Агиа Параскеви. Они входят в природоохранную зону Natura-2000. 10-летний ученик угрожал одноклассникам ножом

В одной из начальных школ Никосии возникла нездоровая ситуация: 10-летний учащийся держит в страхе одноклассников и их родителей, которые беспокоятся за физическое и психическое здоровье своих детей. Администрация школы, по заявлениям родителей, не предпринимает никаких действий. Семья самого мальчика тоже молчит. Требования к велосипедному шлему. Нарушителям –штраф

В официальном правительственном вестнике 7 октября опубликованы требования к шлему, который должны носить все велосипедисты и водители скутеров. Штраф за нарушения – 50 евро. Напомним, с 28 июля 2022 года ношение шлема стало обязательным. Хотя власти дали переходный период до 29 января 2023 года, первые штрафы за нарушение новых правил уже выписаны. До 7 октября каких-то формальных требований к шлему не было. Теперь они появились и имеют статус официального документа. Штраф за отсутствие шлема составляет 50 евро. Тип защитного шлема у велосипедистов и водителей скутеров обязан соответствовать стандарту CYS ΕΝ 1078:2012+A1. На шлеме должно быть четко указано, что он предназначен по крайней мере для велосипедистов.

Власти Лимассола выгнали беженцев из центра города

Власти Лимассола радикальным образом расправились со стихийным «лагерем» беженцев, образовавшемся на пустыре в районе Джамуда. 7 октября к пустырю прибыли грузовики, куда сотрудники муниципалитета побросали все личные вещи беженцев. В стихийном «лагере» жили 36 человек. Все они имели статус просителей убежища, то есть находились на Кипре легально. Об этом сообщали ранее сотрудники полиции, которые проводили на пустыре рейды для проверки документов. В течение нескольких последних месяцев беженцы жили под открытым небом в центре Лимассола. Муниципальные власти все это время пытались найти решение вопроса.
