Приглашаем на выставку Genesis в галерее Enalia

Сегодня, 3 июля, в галерее Enalia в Ларнаке открывается выставка художников Петроса Птохопулоса, Нефели и Нены Птохопулу под названием Genesis. Посмотреть экспозицию можно до конца месяца.

Земля и вода,
Свет и тьма,
Пот и слезы,
Музыка, движение и цвет.

Галерея Enalia вновь открывает свои двери для посетителей и представляет семейную выставку художников Петроса Птохопулоса, Нефели и Нены Птохопулу под названием Genesis. В экспозиции — 55 произведений, с помощью которых зрителю предлагают подумать над проблемами современного общества.

Отделение выставки, которое называется «Крик» (автор — Петрос Птохопулос), говорит об оккупированных территориях Кипра и скрытых сокровищах, которые лежат на морском дне в водах острова, ожидая своего освобождения. «Неясность, влажность и воздух, цветущие элементы природы — это моя бескомпромиссная палитра, то из чего и состоит Кипр, его традиции. Для меня живопись — это любовь, жизнь и контакт с людьми», — говорит Петрос Птохопулос. В зоне «Чувства» можно увидеть музыкальные инструменты и танец (автор — Нефели Птохопулу). Отделение «Взрыв» — это эмоции, демонстрирующие на портретах, созданных Неной Птохопулу, силу души и внутреннего мира.

«Моя естественная склонность к искусству усилилась во время работы в области гастрономии. Мой зарубежный опыт и специализация в области устойчивого развития вдохновили меня заняться возрождением кипрской культуры через искусство как средство просвещения нашего народа и развития туристического сектора Кипра. Таким образом, курируя выставку Genesis, я стремлюсь к коллективному пробуждению внимания к современным проблемам, отраженным в работах семьи Птохопулос – проблемам лишения свободы, утраченной культуры, расизма и лицемерия, которые можно искупить только с помощью солидарности и созидания», — говориткуратор выставки Элени Михаил.

Открытие выставки Genesis — сегодня, 3 июля, в 19:00. Экспозиция работает до 31 июля 2020 года.

История галереи Enalia

В 2019 году в Ларнаке архитектор Яннис Михаил основал галерею Enalia — современное художественное пространство. Название Enalia происходит от греческого слова «эналиос» и означает «опоясанный морем остров Кипр». Галерея находится в отреставрированном каменном здании 1930-х годов — помещение создано по проекту Янниса в сотрудничестве с инженером-строителем Антонисом Мамасом. Реставрация шла три года.

Об основателе галереи Яннисе Михаиле

Яннис Михаил — выпускник школы искусств и дизайна «Вакало» в Афинах и Университета Дерби в Великобритании, создает архитектурные проекты интерьеров, инсталляции и оригинальные произведения на Кипре и за рубежом. Его работа — это постоянное взаимодействие с архитекторами, инженерами-строителями, девелоперами, предпринимателями, строительным и частным сектором для создания жилых и профессиональных пространств. Яннис руководит своими проектами от самого начала до конца. Яннис Михаил также занимается дизайном и созданием ювелирных изделий. Опытный художник и специалист в области искусства и дизайна, он применил все свое мастерство при создании галереи Enalia, чтобы она стала пространством, доступным для всех. Благодаря многогранной карьере в сфере искусства — начиная с 12 лет, проведенных в Афинах, и заканчивая более поздней профессиональной деятельностью на Кипре и за рубежом — он основал галерею Enalia как место, где встречаются все виды искусства.

О кураторе галереи Элени Михаил

После завершения реставрационных работ управление галереей взяла на себя дочь Янниса — Элени Михаил, вернувшаяся на Кипр после семи лет учебы и работы за границей. Галерея отвечает всем требованиям организации культурных мероприятий и отдыха – здесь можно проводить выставки, торжества, конференции, коктейльные вечеринки и корпоративы. Элени Михаил с отличием закончила бакалавриат по специальности международного гостиничного бизнеса и туризма в Университете Суррея и Гонконгский политехнический университет. В течение последних семи лет она работала на консалтинговых проектах в области устойчивого развития государственных градостроительных организаций, а также разрабатывала стратегию управления бизнесом для корпораций в Англии, Испании и Гонконге. Кроме того, Элени Михаил преуспела в секторе общественного питания и гостеприимства, помогая лондонским ресторанам, отмеченным звездами Мишлен, запустить свои проекты в Копенгагене и Нью-Йорке. Элени владеет английским и греческим языками, свободно говорит по-французски, изучает русский и японский языки. Ее образование в области искусства, театра и музыки, которое она получала с юных лет, привело ее к профессии куратора галереи Enalia, в которой она контролирует все аспекты повседневной деятельности.

Об авторах

Петрос Птохопулос
Петрос Птохопулос родился в Никосии в 1953 году, вырос в Фамагусте. После турецкого вторжения 1974 года переехал в Ларнаку, где и обосновался навсегда. Закончил школу Weder в Швейцарии. Его произведения, вдохновленные историей и греческой культурой Кипра, изображают темы древности, утраченной культуры, оккупированных территорий, родного Кипра, морского дна, хранилища души и третьего измерения. В 2008 году известный греческий судовладелец Яннис Вардинояннис выбрал Петроса Птохопулоса, чтобы художественно оформить роскошный круизный лайнер Elyros, а также офисы компании ADEK в Афинах. В 2018 году художник провел ретроспективную выставку под названием «Петрос Птохопулос: 45 лет с кистями и светом». Он был удостоен звания «Художник года» по версии интернет-журнала SkalaTimes. Его работы, индивидуальные и в составе коллектива авторов, находятся в многочисленных частных коллекциях и учреждениях по всему миру, включая Грецию, Россию, Украину, Новую Зеландию, Болгарию, Молдавию и США. Высоко ценимые на родине, его произведения хранятся в частных коллекциях на Кипре, в Национальной галерее Кипра, в музеях Кипрской Православной Церкви, Президентском дворце, Министерстве финансов, Министерстве образования, Морском музее Греции. Петрос Птохопулос руководит художественной школой в Ларнаке, где обучаются дети всех возрастов, включая подростков, готовящихся поступить на факультеты изобразительного искусства на Кипре и за рубежом.

Нефели Птохопулу
Нефели Птохопулу родилась в Ларнаке в 1983 году. Она выросла в художественной среде, ее отец — Петрос Птохопулос, известный художник, чьи картины выставлены в одиннадцати национальных галереях. «Мой отец вдохновлял и направлял меня, но моя врожденная любовь к искусству всегда была во мне». Нефели училась в Академии изящных искусств при Университете им. Аристотеля (Салоники), городе, который она очень любит и который определил ее художественную индивидуальность. «Мой отец и занятия в Салониках сыграли важную роль в формировании моего стиля в искусстве, я верю, что пока художник жив, он продолжает учиться, развиваться, совершенствоваться и меняться».

Нена Птохопулу
Нена Птохопулу родилась в 1992 году в Ларнаке. Изучала изобразительное искусство в Университете им. Аристотеля в Салониках, а также училась по специальности «изобразительное искусство и медиа» в Университете Солфорда в Великобритании. Работала мастером-татуировщиком в тату-салонах Великобритании и Кипра более пяти лет. Сейчас живет и работает в Ларнаке. Нена Птохопулу — профессиональный художник, специализирующийся на портретах, в настоящее время работает над созданием коллекции портретов знаменитостей. Основателем и дизайнер бренда Dunkbox.

    1            Application of terms

    1.1        These Terms apply to your use of the Website. By accessing and using the Website:

    Underlying System means any network, system, software, data or material that underlies or is connected to the Website

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    information remains true, current and complete.

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    b unless with our agreement, access the Website via standard web browsers only and not by any other method. Other methods include scraping, deep-linking, harvesting, data mining, use of a robot or spider, automation, or any similar data gathering, extraction or monitoring method.

    Republic of Cyprus.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
