«Зимовка» на Кипре: 10 особенностей, которые вас поразят

Когда мы переезжали на Кипр, я думала, что зимой на острове спокойно можно загорать. После сурового питерского лета, январская температура в +15-20 градусов казалась вполне приемлемой для принятия солнечных ванн. А уж круглогодичные прогулки в босоножках вообще не представляли проблему. Буквально через несколько месяцев я уже спрятала легкие туфельки в шкаф, достала сапоги и приобрела меховую жилетку.

Местные жители привыкли к смене сезонов. Никого не удивляет, что в сентябре при температуре +30 киприоты уже облачаются в рубашки с длинным рукавом. Ну, ведь, осень же! И как раз в период с ноября по апрель очень легко отличить «аборигенов» от туристов. Но на зимнем Кипре есть и свои прелести. И чтобы их не омрачили местные особенности, мы решили рассказать о некоторых нюансах.

Что можно почувствовать и увидеть только зимой?

1) После катания на лыжах и прогулок по заснеженным лесам можно за 30 минут доехать до моря и посидеть в ресторане, наслаждаясь солнцем и цветущими растениями.

Любимая забава местного русскоязычного населения – в выходной день позавтракать в каком-нибудь месте на берегу моря, наслаждаясь солнцем и легким бризом. Затем собраться и поехать в горы, чтобы побродить по заснеженному Тродосу и даже покататься на лыжах и ватрушках.

Наличие снега на Кипре – вполне предсказуемое по времени явление. С декабря по март в районе Олимпуса он не тает. Поэтому отсутствие сугробов может вас не пугать. Надышавшись свежим воздухом, можно пообедать в какой-нибудь деревенской таверне, запивая ароматное мясо горячим глинтвейном или домашним красным вином с близлежащей винодельни. Особенной популярностью в районе Лимассола пользуется красное вино из деревни Васа. Обязательно попробуйте. Оно действительно необыкновенное.

2) Спелые цитрусовые и различные зимние фрукты, которые летом теряют вкус и сочность.

Основное правило местных жителей – есть фрукты только в тот сезон, в котором они созревают. Киприоты практически не покупают импортных фруктов и овощей. Поэтому зимой на острове особенно популярны апельсины, мандарины, лимоны, помело, хурма, местные бананы и особенная зимняя клубника. Только в январе – феврале на прилавках появляются крупные и необыкновенно сочные ягоды. Многие удивляются, зачем покупать цитрусовые, которые растут практически на каждом шагу в любой части города.

На самом деле, самые сочные цитрусовые растут в садах или в горной местности. Поэтому, если во время прогулки в горы вы увидите апельсины на заснеженном дереве, не поленитесь их сорвать. Более сочные и ароматные фрукты вы вряд ли когда-нибудь попробуете.

3) Полюбоваться на зимовку розовых фламинго на соляных озерах Лимассола и Ларнаки.

Впервые в 2018 году розовые фламинго были замечены весной. Обычно они прилетают на соляные озера в декабре и отправляются в обратный путь в феврале. Связано это с тем, что соляные озера летом пересыхают, и птицам просто нечем питаться.

Необыкновенно грациозные птицы в зимний период покрывают водную гладь как розовое покрывало. Наблюдение за ними приводит к необычайному умиротворению.

Что надо учесть, отправляясь на Кипр зимой?

1) Выбирая место для проживания у моря, стоит остановиться на Лимассоле, Ларнаке или Пафосе. В остальных городах жизнь замирает.

Самая активная жизнь зимой в Лимассоле, где проживает большая часть русскоговорящего населения. Проходит множество концертов и мероприятий. Пафос и Ларнаку выбирают те, кто хочет более спокойной обстановки. Хотя от обоих городов можно за 40 минут добраться до Лимассола и поучаствовать в развлечениях.

2) Стоимость аренды квартир и домов значительно снижается с ноября по апрель. Апартаменты, которые в сезон сдаются по 150 евро в сутки, можно снять за 600-800 евро за месяц.

Тем, кто живет на острове постоянно, невыгодно снимать жилье на полгода. Поскольку именно к лету цены поднимаются, и экономия становится сомнительной. А вот если вы хотите провести на Кипре только зимние месяцы, выбор хороших вариантов значительно увеличивается.

3) В домах очень холодно: на улице раздеваются, в квартирах одеваются. На Кипре нет центрального отопления, в большинстве квартир ванная комната не будет обогреваться.

Ходит шутка: «Нужна ли шуба на Кипре? – Нужна, зимой дома надо во что-то одеваться». Большинство квартир отапливается с помощью кондиционеров или электрических батарей. Отопление дизелем или газом существует только в частных домах. Привычную для России температуру в +26-28 градусов в доме в зимний период поддерживать или невозможно, или очень затратно.

Кроме того, проводить электричество в ванную комнату на Кипре запрещено законодательно. Поэтому зимой принятие душа превращается в проблему. Наполнить же даже скромную ванную без подогрева воды будет достаточно сложно.

4) Чтобы дети подучили английский язык, их можно пристроить в одну из русских или английских частных школ или детских садов. Проблем с этим не возникнет.
Если вы хотите, чтобы ребенок подтянул английский язык и выработал произношение, можете договориться с одной из школ. Как правило, руководство школ не отказывает в устройстве учеников на зимний период. Документальных волокит не существует, и ваш ребенок с легкостью впишется в коллектив и продолжит обучение без прерывания учебного года. После завершения вашего пребывания вам выдадут документы об окончании триместра.

Что можно сделать только зимой?

1) Посетить фестиваль зивании (ноябрь-декабрь)

Зивания – традиционный крепкий алкоголь. Виноградная водка, аналогом которой являются граппа или чача. Ежегодно в разных деревнях Кипра проводится фестиваль, посвященный этому напитку. Обязательно стоит съездить и посмотреть на процесс дистилляции, а также поучаствовать в развлекательной программе.

2) Поучаствовать в фестивале цветущего миндального дерева (февраль – март)
Один из самых красивых фестивалей на Кипре. Ежегодно проходит в дереве Лимнатис в 25 км от Лимассола. Ненавязчивый запах миндаля вы почувствуете уже по пути в деревню. Ведь в это время почти весь остров окутан ароматом цветов. Вы научитесь отличать цветы горького миндаля от сладких собратьев. Полюбуетесь на пушистые бело-розовые деревья и получите искреннее удовольствие.

3) Пройти в шествии во время традиционного Карнавала (февраль – март). Карнавал на Кипре – мероприятие исключительное. В 2018 году из-за праздника были даже перенесены выборы Президента Республики Кипр.

На 2 недели Лимассол и другие города заполняют бесконечные шествия. Непринужденная атмосфера создаст настроение любому проходящему мимо. Только не намечайте на этот период никаких дел и встреч. Все шьют костюмы и встречаются с друзьями.

    1            Application of terms

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
