Разозленные животноводы провели акцию протеста

Огонь перед воротами президентского дворца, вылитые на асфальт тонны молока, перекрытые улицы. Так в Никосии прошла акция протеста фермеров, недовольных нынешними условиями труда и рецептурой сыра халлуми.

Животноводы, принадлежащие к различным фермерским организациям, вместе со своими семьями, включая детей, собрались у старого стадиона ГСП в 11:00 18 мая, откуда они начали свое шествие к президентскому дворцу. Труженики протестовали против неприемлемых условий деятельности, роста цен на зерновые и сокращения цен на молоко. Фермеры требовали, чтобы государство заставило сыроделов соблюдать рецептуру сыра халлуми, утвержденную Брюсселем, чтобы цены на их продукцию могли бы начать расти, принося им больше дохода.

Напомним, согласно рецептуре халлуми, который получил маркировку ЕС как продукт с защищенным наименованием места происхождения, в сыре должно быть поровну козье-овечьего и коровьего молока. Однако по факту на Кипре готовят халлуми с большим содержанием коровьего молока. Поэтому часть продукции животноводов, разводящих коз и овец, остается невостребованной.

Если бы халлуми готовили по ГОСТу, то спрос на козье и овечье молоко был бы выше, и цены на этот вид молока стали бы расти. Это, в свою очередь, принесло бы фермерам больше дохода. Животноводы также жаловались на то, что для халлуми используют молочный порошок, а не свежее молоко, что тоже никак не помогает спросу на их продукцию.

Сельхозпроизводители на грани отчаяния

У Президентского дворца разгневанные животноводы в полной мере выплеснули свою злость. Они подогнали цистерны с молоком и начали выливать его на асфальт, затем принесли тюки с сеном и подожгли их прямо у въезда на территорию Президентского дворца. На место пришлось вызывать пожарных, чтобы взять огонь под контроль. Полиция присутствовала на демонстрации в полном снаряжении на случай, если бы пришлось разгонять демонстрацию, но в итоге никак не вмешивалась в происходящее.

«Мы на грани отчаяния. Государство должно поддержать нас любой ценой», – заявил СМИ один из протестующих. Другой участник акции протеста отметил: государство и покупатели платят им копейки, на которые невозможно выжить. Протестующие также жаловались на рост стоимости животных кормов. Цена на них увеличилась на 115%. Учитывая значительный рост цен на нефть, электроэнергию, удобрения и расходные материалы, закрытие их ферм – вопрос нескольких дней.

Государство пообещало поддержку

К протестующим вышел глава офиса президента Андреас Иосиф. Госслужащий порекомендовал демонстрантам проявить терпение, заявив, что вопрос рецептуры халлуми находится в Юридической службе. До конца месяца фермеры, занимающиеся разведением коз и овец, получат в общей сложности 5 млн евро в виде субсидий, еще 3 млн евро будут распределены между другими секторами животноводства. После этого протестующие двинулись от Президентского дворца к перекрестку проспектов Аталассас и Лемесу, где перегородили проезжую часть.

Во второй половине дня министр сельского хозяйства Костас Кадис все-таки принял делегацию протестующих. После встречи министр вышел к фермерам. В ходе общения с животноводами Кадис признал: «На рынке халлуми конкуренция не работает должным образом». Чиновник пообещал селянам дополнительную поддержку в случае необходимости. «Я полностью разделяю ваши чувства и причины, вызвавшие протест. Я не согласен с тем, какую форму он принял у Президентского дворца, однако я считаю, что сам по себе протест оправдан», – подчеркнул Кадис.

Фермеры получат субсидии

Глава Минсельхоза констатировал: производство молока обходится фермерам дороже, чем его себестоимость. Произведя литр за 1,5 евро, они получают за него от покупателей 1,1-1,2 евро. Министр пообещал субсидии фермерам уже к концу этого месяца. Однако проблема будет решена только тогда, когда продукция получит правильную цену. Он также отметил, что проверок сыроварен на предмет соблюдения рецептуры халлуми до сих пор не проводилось. Контрольные мероприятия должны начаться на следующей неделе.

Общение с чиновником возымело свой эффект. Представитель протестующих Кирьякос Манолис поблагодарил министра сельского хозяйства за встречу и отметил, что фермеры ценят проявленное понимание. «Министр пообещал, что поддержит нас любым возможным способом. И мы ожидаем, что он это сделает», – сказал Манолис.

Ценовые парадоксы

Проблема нерентабельности производства халлуми обсуждалась накануне в парламенте. Министр Костас Кадис там тоже заявил, что животноводы вынуждены продавать молоко дешевле себестоимости. «Общеизвестно, что цены устанавливают сыроварни. Поэтому фермеры, выращивающие овец и коз, получают те суммы, которые им называют производители сыра», – сказал он. В ходе встречи Кадис обратил внимание ещё на один парадокс: на все сыры в Европе цены растут, а цена на халлуми остается на прежнем уровне или даже падает.

Зоозащитники против

Действия протестующих были осуждены Партией защиты животных, которая выразила свое несогласие с тем, что животные или производимые ими продукты используются в ходе протестов.

    1            Application of terms

    You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

     

    4            Your obligations

    4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

    a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

    Republic of Cyprus.

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    Website.

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
