AUB Mediterraneo начинает новый учебный год в Пафосе

Этой осенью почти 200 новых студентов поступили в Американский университет Бейрута – Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo), который начал 2026–2027 учебный год в своем кампусе в Пафосе. На торжественной церемонии открытия учебного года, состоявшейся 14 сентября, собрались студенты, родители, преподаватели и руководство университета. По случаю начала нового учебного года к университетскому сообществу обратился президент AUB доктор Фадло Р. Хури.

AUB Mediterraneo стремительно развивается с тех пор, как открылся в 2023 году. Это первый зарубежный кампус Американского университета Бейрута за пределами Ливана, имеющий равный статус с основным кампусом. Сам AUB был основан в 1866 году, и его академическая история насчитывает уже более 160 лет.

Сегодня эти традиции продолжаются и на Кипре. Здесь студенты учатся на английском языке, получают образование в Европейском союзе, а по окончании обучения – диплом AUB, университета с многолетней международной репутацией.

AUB Mediterraneo получил одобрение американской аккредитационной организации Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) в качестве филиала AUB, а все его факультеты и образовательные программы аккредитованы Кипрским агентством по обеспечению качества и аккредитации высшего образования. Образовательные программы AUB также зарегистрированы Департаментом образования штата Нью-Йорк и признаются в США.

Для студентов и их семей международный статус университета важен не только с точки зрения качества образования, но и с точки зрения будущих карьерных возможностей. В рейтинге QS World University Rankings 2027 Американский университет Бейрута занял 18-е место в мире по показателю Employment Outcomes, оценивающему карьерные результаты выпускников, и получил 99,8 балла из 100.

Обучение в AUB Mediterraneo строится по американской модели liberal arts: углубленное изучение выбранной специальности сочетается с широким кругом дисциплин, которые развивают критическое мышление, коммуникативные и аналитические навыки, грамотность в области искусственного интеллекта и умение решать сложные задачи. Эти навыки остаются востребованными: они помогают выпускникам мыслить самостоятельно, работать на стыке разных дисциплин, эффективно общаться и адаптироваться по мере того, как меняются профессии и целые отрасли.

Университет продолжает расширять перечень образовательных программ. На бакалавриате студенты могут выбрать следующие направления: психология; философия, политика и экономика; Global Liberal Arts; компьютерные науки и инженерия; промышленная инженерия; бизнес-администрирование со специализацией в менеджменте; бизнес-администрирование со специализацией в цифровом маркетинге; гражданское строительство и устойчивое проектирование. В магистратуре предлагаются программы по бизнес-аналитике и инженерному менеджменту.

Среди новых направлений – бизнес-администрирование со специализацией в цифровом маркетинге, а также гражданское строительство и устойчивое проектирование. Их появление отражает дальнейшее развитие AUB Mediterraneo в областях, актуальность которых растет по мере изменения потребностей общества и рынка труда.

Особого внимания заслуживает и расположение университета. AUB Mediterraneo находится в самом центре Пафоса. Современная университетская инфраструктура здесь сочетается с отреставрированными элементами бывших складов Carob Mill. В архитектуре кампуса прослеживаются отсылки к историческому кампусу AUB в Бейруте, что создает зримую связь между двумя кампусами университета. При этом Средиземное море находится всего в нескольких минутах ходьбы.

AUB Mediterraneo также сформировал по-настоящему международное университетское сообщество. В Пафосе вместе учатся студенты из более чем 50 стран, привнося разнообразие языков, культур и образовательного опыта как в учебный процесс, так и в студенческую жизнь.

Для русскоязычных семей на Кипре и в других странах региона такая международная среда дает возможность получать образование на английском языке и одновременно становиться частью сообщества, объединяющего студентов из Европы, Ближнего Востока, Центральной Азии и других регионов мира.

Набор этого года стал еще одним шагом в развитии университета.

Позже в этом учебном году AUB Mediterraneo ждет еще одно важное событие — университет отметит выпуск своего первого потока бакалавров. Кампус продолжает расти, и 2026–2027 учебный год знаменует новый этап в истории AUB Mediterraneo на Кипре.

Прием заявлений на осень 2027 года уже открыт. В рамках программы Undergraduate Early Admission абитуриенты, соответствующие установленным требованиям, также могут претендовать на несколько видов стипендиальной поддержки, которые в совокупности покрывают до 50% стоимости обучения.

1            Application of terms

3            Definitions

In these Terms:

including and similar words do not imply any limit

Loss includes loss of profits, savings, revenue or data, and any other claim, damage, loss, liability and cost, including legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis

personal information means information about an identifiable, living person

Terms means these terms and conditions titled Terms and conditions of use

Underlying System means any network, system, software, data or material that underlies or is connected to the Website

We, us or our means VESTNIK KIPRA Group

You means you or, if clause 1.1b applies, both you and the other person on whose behalf you are acting.

 

4            Your obligations

4.1        You must provide true, current and complete information in your dealings with us and must promptly update that information as required so that the

information remains true, current and complete.

4.2        You must:

a not act in a way, or use or introduce anything (including any virus, worm, Trojan horse, timebomb, keystroke logger, spyware or other similar feature) that in any way compromises, or may compromise, the Website or any Underlying System, or otherwise attempt to damage or interfere with the Website or any Underlying System; and

b unless with our agreement, access the Website via standard web browsers only and not by any other method. Other methods include scraping, deep-linking, harvesting, data mining, use of a robot or spider, automation, or any similar data gathering, extraction or monitoring method.

4.3 You indemnify us against all Loss we suffer or incur as a direct or indirect result of your failure to comply with these Terms.
 

5            Intellectual property

We (and our licensors) own all proprietary and intellectual property rights in the Website (including all information, data, text, graphics, artwork, photographs, logos, icons, sound recordings, videos and look and feel), and the Underlying Systems.

6.1        To the extent permitted by law, we and our licensors have no liability or responsibility to you or any other person for any Loss in connection with:

a the Website being unavailable (in whole or in part) or performing slowly;

10         General

10.2      These Terms, and any dispute relating to these Terms or the Website, are governed by and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the

Republic of Cyprus.

Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

Website.

10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
