С 63 лет у киприотов заканчивается здоровая жизнь

Киприоты имеют высокую продолжительность жизни. Но годы здорового существования заканчиваются в возрасте 63 лет. Какие факторы увеличивают риск болезней с возрастом и как их профилактировать?

Среднестатистический киприот последние 20 лет своей жизни проживает, борясь с различными болезнями.

«То, как мы стареем, в значительной степени определяется нами самими», – заявил Гай Бранденбургер, управляющий партнер люксембургского отделения PwC, отвечающий за здравоохранение. Он выступал на научной конференции Кипрской федерации ассоциаций пациентов (ОСАК).

Спикер рассказал про факторы, влияющие на то, как стареет человек. Они изменчивы и зависят от того, как этот человек живет на протяжении всей своей жизни, и особенно – начиная с 40-летнего возраста.

На Кипре ожидаемая продолжительность жизни составляет 83,4 года для женщин и 79,2 года для мужчин. Как сообщалось ранее, в последнее время она незначительно снизилась.

Киприоты в целом ведут здоровый образ жизни. То есть у них нет особых проблем со здоровьем (за исключением непредвиденных ситуаций) в среднем до достижения ими 63 лет (62,5 для женщин, 63,1 для мужчин). Если сравнить среднюю продолжительность жизни со средней продолжительностью здоровой жизни, то можно прийти к выводу, что последние 19,6 лет киприоты проживают с проблемами со здоровьем.

Пенсионный возраст на Кипре начинается с 65 лет. Это означает, что среднестатистический киприот в течение последних двух лет занятости живет с проблемами со здоровьем, со всеми вытекающими последствиями.

Цена болезней

Лучше всего в ЕС ситуация со здоровьем обстоит в Швеции. Только в последние 10 лет своей жизни граждане этой страны сталкиваются с проблемами. «Если все страны смогут достичь шведских показателей, по которым продолжительность здорового существования составляет 72,2 года, то наша жизнь станет лучше, а экономическая нагрузка на государства будет намного меньше», – сказал люксембургский ученый.

Он утверждает, что за каждый дополнительный год здоровой жизни государство экономит для бюджета порядка 10 млн евро. То есть если Кипр достигнет уровня Швеции, экономическая выгода для страны составит около 100 миллионов евро в год.

Цену болезни можно легко подсчитать, просто приняв во внимание стоимость лекарств. Согласно европейским базам данных, каждый человек старше 65 лет принимает в среднем 13 различных таблеток в день. Согласно международным отчетам, на Кипре каждый пожилой человек обходится государству примерно в 3000 евро в год. С общим старением населения эта сумма увеличится уже в ближайшие несколько лет.

Факторы нездорового старения

Есть две категории факторов, которые приводят к нездоровому старению.

К первой категории относятся факторы, которые можно предотвратить:
– сердечно-сосудистые заболевания,
– диабет,
– гипертония (подробнее здесь) и т.д.

Вторая категория – факторы, с которыми ничего нельзя сделать:
– неизбежное снижение мышечной массы,
– болезни Альцгеймера и Паркинсона.

«То, как мы стареем, в значительной степени зависит от нас. Если мы будем вести правильный образ жизни, если мы с самого начала начнем думать о том, как хотим провести последние годы своей жизни, тогда мы добьемся хороших результатов. Это наш выбор. Только 20% факторов, которые приводят к проблемам со здоровьем в пожилом возрасте, невозможно предотвратить», – сказал Гай Бранденбургер.

У 30-45% людей после 45 лет начинаются проблемы со здоровьем, они становятся более уязвимы. С годами этот показатель увеличивается еще больше, особенно для женщин.

Увеличение для возрастной группы 65-69 лет составляет порядка 4%, для возрастной группы 70-74 лет достигает 7%, для возрастной группы 75-79 лет возрастает до 9%, а для возрастной группы доля группы 80+ лет – до 16%.

«Профилактика должна сопровождать нас на протяжении всей нашей жизни», – сказал эксперт. В возрасте около 55 лет «мы должны решить, как стареть». Для факторов, которые можно предотвратить, профилактика, безусловно, ключевое решение. Для факторов вне наших возможностей необходима ранняя диагностика и вмешательство.

Снижение стресса, правильное питание, физические упражнения, четкие жизненные цели, акцент на семейную жизнь и социализацию, частое наблюдение у врача и стоматолога, отказ от частого употребления алкоголя и от проживания в районах с загрязненным воздухом – вот что может помочь увеличить продолжительность здоровой жизни.

«Все государства должны стремиться сначала увеличить продолжительность здоровой жизни, а затем уже увеличивать ожидаемую продолжительность жизни. Подумайте, каким будет мир, когда у нас будут здоровые пожилые люди. Затем подумайте об экономической выгоде от здорового стареющего населения», – заключил спикер.

    1            Application of terms

    4            Your obligations

    Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Cyprus in relation to any dispute connected with these Terms or the

    10.3      For us to waive a right under these Terms, the waiver must be in writing.

    10.4      Clauses which, by their nature, are intended to survive termination of these Terms, including clauses 5, 6, 7, 10.1, continue in force.

    10.5      If any part or provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent

    required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as

    severed from these Terms. The remainder of these Terms will be binding on you.

    10.6      These Terms set out everything agreed by the parties relating to your use of the Website and supersede and cancel anything discussed, exchanged or

    agreed prior to you agreeing to these Terms. The parties have not relied on any representation, warranty or agreement relating to the Website that is not

    expressly set out in the Terms, and no such representation, warranty or agreement has any effect from the date you agreed to these Terms.
